A Christmas Reflection

Today, in celebration of Christmas, we reflect on Jesus arriving in the world in an unexpected, beautiful, awesome way. Here, I offer a few photo examples of where I see God continue to arrive in our world, over and over again, in extraordinary ways.

I see God’s majesty arrive in our world in the form of sunset colors gracing the peaks of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan (as seen from Skyline Divide).

I feel the Holy Spirit’s presence show up in moments of reunion with friends who feel like family.

I feel enveloped by God’s peace when in or near the ocean – remarkably, this peace is ubiquitous regardless of where I encounter the ocean, in the same way that God’s peace is unwavering.

I feel the wonder of Jesus in the moments where everything simply, miraculously falls into place in a way that only God could orchestrate.

Merry Christmas! In this season, may you lean into the moments in which you feel God arrive.
