WELCOME to FPC!
where we actively seek to
love God, love others,
and help others love God.
What are the services like?
Our service is typically an hour and fifteen minutes long, and combines elements of Classical (traditional) and Contemporary styles of worship - including prayer, music, liturgy, scripture, a message, communion, and other expressions of corporate worship and reflection. Our service is multigenerational - including everyone from infants to those in their golden years and beyond!
After the service upstairs, we continue our fellowship downstairs at “Café Pres” with coffee, snacks, and conversation.
When are the services?
We gather on Sundays at 10AM, both in person or on Zoom. See our Online Worship page for more information about gathering together online.
How do I get there?
FPC is located in downtown Bellingham, Washington near Western Washington University. Find us at 1031 N. Garden St. Bellingham, WA 98225.
Parking
Our dedicated parking lot is located on the corner of N. Garden and E. Laurel Streets (Enter on E. Laurel). We have a limited number of parking spots available behind The Commons building in our alley for elderly and disabled attending FPC worship services and events.
Parking is also available on the street and nearby parking lots. See the attached map for details.
Accessibility
There is handicapped parking available in the front of the church on N. Garden (use ramp to access front doors), and near the downstairs door off of our alley (use elevator to access the sanctuary). Headsets that amplify the audio of the service are available to borrow in the foyer - just ask a greeter!
What about Children and Youth?
FPC values the integration of children and youth into our worship and congregational life. All ages start together in worship on Sunday mornings. Children, 5th grade and younger are dismissed to continue their worship in our children’s programs about ⅓ of the way through the service.
If you are visiting, please come downstairs with your child so we can welcome you and introduce you to their teacher.
Babies and toddlers: A toddler room is open to receive toddlers through 3 years old five minutes before (9:55am) or anytime during the service.
An unstaffed, equipped nursery is available downstairs for parents to change diapers and settle babies.
